Israeli cellist Dana Waksman was trained as a classical cellist. Played as a solo cellist in Israel, North America, Europe and the Seychelles, and as an orchestral player with the IPO (Israel Philharmonic orchestra) & other leading Israeli orchestras

Dana has played cello for some of Israel's renowned popular music artists - Eviatar Banai (first album), Shlomo Gronich (Journey to The Source), Rockfour, Dudu Tassa and many more. Dana has explored ways of expression in Jazz, Free Jazz, World music, new music and other musical influences which led her to the composition and recording of multi-layered cello compositions

 

Dana is playing on an Italian cello, graciously  on loan from the Raitman Tubert Collection
